There are certain stages in a company's growth in which major "transition points" are encountered. These pivotal stages may be positive or negative in nature, but often require a company to access additional resources (or a different mix of resources) from those currently part of their management team, in order to deal with the immediate challenge or opportunity before moving forward to the next level of performance and growth.
