WarHorse Capital was founded by Tom Crowley, an experienced business executive with a distinguished, thirty-year career as entrepreneur, corporate executive, financial deal maker and private equity investor. He is a proven business leader and problem-solver, with versatile skills, multi-industry experience and a penchant for helping companies adapt to emerging trends and changing circumstances.
Having learned “best-practice” management skills at top-notch institutions like the Stanford Business School and the General Electric Company, Tom developed practical street-smarts and survival skills while acting as entrepreneur, founder or advisor of over a dozen companies. He is also a seasoned and versatile investor, with successful track-records in venture capital, private equity and leveraged buyouts, and hands-on experience doing workouts and turn-arounds.
At WarHorse Capital we approach our assignments with this balanced perspective of an Owner/Manager. We strive to fuse the time-tested experience and judgment of seasoned investment professionals with the energy, resilience and innovative thinking of bright, younger operating talent. . . . . all with the goal of delivering the right mix of people, ideas and resources, at the right time . . . . to help a company tackle whatever problems or opportunities it might face in today’s challenging economy.
